MY JOURNEY

Thanks to my father, mother and sister, sports and simply being active have always been a part of my childhood growing up. Surprisingly though, I did not enjoy training as a kid, and basketball became my first real love and passion. I read and studied just about every type of explosive athletic training program out there at the time.

Throughout countless hours of training, practicing, and attending some of the best-rated basketball camps in the nation, I was able to obtain a 42” vertical leap, win several dunk contests, and receive Allstate Honors.

The 2006 Arnold Classic was the exact moment my passion began to turn to bodybuilding. I remember waiting in line for over an hour just to meet Ronnie Coleman. Talk about a larger than life human being! I left that day with one of his books and a fire lit inside me that I never felt before.

Over that summer I followed his training program and couldn’t believe the progress I made. Coming back to school for my senior year, I looked like a completely different person. At this point I became a sponge for just about everything in the nutrition, supplement, and training industry. I lived and breathed fitness!

In the years to come, I would compete in several bodybuilding shows, winning my class, and taking multiple second place overall finishes. Then, in 2012, I won the Collegiate National Heavyweight Championship for Bodybuilding hosted in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Looking back, I’m incredibly grateful and blessed for my father’s continuous motivation and persistence to train. Now, training has quite literally changed my life and become a consistent staple in my every day routine.
